The history of Friulsedie starts in 1898 when Pietro Dalmasson, who at the time was 16, following the ancient traditions of the Friuli masters started to produce his first cane chair models Marocca and Marsiglia at San Giovanni Natisone, in Friuli, the heart of the area that was to become the most important italian chair manufacturing district.Over the decades the Dalmasson family has steadily expanded the business relying on innovation and tradition and a company philosophy that merges the values of both North and South, expressing the true “made in Italy” business spirit.

A reality made of history and passion

Today Friulsedie has a modern production facility covering 20.000 s.q.m. with a built-up area of more than 6.000 s.q.m.. Our modern plants and highly automated production lines give us a capacity of 1.000 chairs and 100 tables a day.

Respect of the environment and the evironmentally friendly products

Particular attention is focused on the environmental impact of the final product during the phase of conception, design and choice of materials both in the phase of production and at the end of the life cycle, with the recycling of its components.

Function and design, a wise combination of different materials> such as wood/metal/glass/plastic/leather, a complex planning for the maximum ease of use: these are the principles that guide the research and developement of the Technical Office of Friulsedie and the creativity of the external designer for the new collections.

Ensuring the best

Strict technical tests, with reference to CATAS (Centre of Technical Assistance for Companies of Charis and Furniture) are carried out both on prototypes (before put in production) and on finished products in order to verify the validity of the construction criteria, the absence of structural criticality and to ensure final quality.

A constantly alert and targeted service

The company deals with retailers, manufacturers and operators in the contract division, offering a range of articles that includes more than two hundred models among tables, chairs, armchairs and stools. The experience gained by Friulsedie in the field of contract means that the offer is characterized by suitable materials, fabrics and fireproof foam and a class of models with ministerial approval for specific needs, also providing personalization on orders form a wide range of finish samples, up to the realization of complete series of specific indicated articles.
